Promotional author visits Norfolk spring 2026
Welcome to Julia Edwards Books!
Every year between New Year and Easter, Julia offers promotional visits and reduced cost workshops to schools in certain counties of the UK.
Julia has visited Norfolk eleven times since 2018, making over 60 visits to schools across the county. She plans to return to the area between Monday 2 and Friday 6 February 2026. These visits usually fill up quickly, so please do send an enquiry promptly if you are interested.
​Following a well-established pattern she has used around the UK in the last eight years, Julia offers:

a one-hour free promotional visit for KS2 (no limit on numbers). This session is a whistle-stop tour through history, introducing Julia's Scar Gatherer series and featuring an abundance of quirky, fascinating and occasionally grisly facts from history. It also gives children a chance to test their historical knowledge in a format that is fun and engaging;

a half day of workshops (which includes the free promotional talk) reduced to £180 (usual rate £240);

a full day of workshops (which includes the free promotional talk) reduced to £305 (usual rate 380).

Each school (including schools who wish to book the promotional visit only) will need to contribute to Julia's accommodation and travel at a flat rate of £80 per school, so that her expenses are covered collectively.
